Our Sunday Morning Service is filled with vibrant and worshipful variations of music. We offer a mixture of classic hymns and contemporary songs that have blessed us for generations.
Our Pastor’s messages are exciting, challenging and timely. Each time we get together, we are challenged with messages on our God-given responsibilities to each other and our community. Throughout the week we offer several opportunities to “tune up” our walk with God and spend time in prayer. Together, we pray for the needs of our church body and the community.
On Sundays, Preschool Worship opens in KID CITY at 10:15 AM. During Morning Worship, children from Kindergarten to 4th grade are invited to attend Kidz 4 Christ, our friendly children’s ministry.
At First Southern we love to worship through music! Our worship service features a mix of traditional favorites along with new worship songs. For those who desire to be involved in our music ministry, we have multiple opportunities for service. Our Praise Choir presents Christmas and Easter music each year, as well as singing at many of our worship services during fall, winter and spring. Our Praise Team also leads worship at Sunday morning service. Our children frequently present songs on Sunday that they have learned in Sunday school. In addition to these established groups, members worship with solo and small group vocal and instrumental performances many times during the year, and all are invited to participate in our quarterly music nights. We would be delighted to have you join your talents with ours as we praise our Lord and Savior!
