First Southern Baptist Church of Prescott Valley is a Christ- centered, Bible believing congregation intent on reaching our community with the life changing good news of Jesus Christ. Our focus is the encouragement and faith building of believers through whom God can work. We are a multi-cultural and multi-generational fellowship, reaching people from many backgrounds and age groups. We seek to be a church that is inclusive of those who desire a vibrant and vital relationship with Jesus. We want to validate lives through the redemptive work of Christ. First Southern Baptist Church of Prescott Valley is an autonomous Baptist church that cooperates with more than 40,000 other Southern Baptist churches across America in the proclamation of God’s Good News. As a result of our cooperation with the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention, we help in supporting of more than 6,000 international missionaries and almost 6,000 missionaries in Canada and the U.S.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
The over 14,000 churches that make up the Southern Baptist Convention are all independent in our make-up, yet we choose to cooperate together to reach our world with the message of salvation found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Baptist have never had a “creed” that every church or individual member must adhere to. The Bible is our sole source of authority. Southern Baptist however have adopted the Baptist Faith and Message as a “Statement of Faith” that each church may choose and adhere to voluntarily.
